Dear Deans and Colleagues,
To support the implementation of the Higher Education Sprout Project A2-2 for 2025, we kindly request each college/center to plan at least one MOOC course and submit the course proposal form no later than 5:00 PM on January 10, 2025.
MOOC Course Guidelines:
- Instructors: Faculty members from our university (including full-time and adjunct faculty).

Course Themes: Topics may include but are not limited to:
- Advanced Placement courses for high school students
- Courses integrating generative AI
- Courses related to second specialties
- Course Proposal Form: Each college is requested to compile and submit the completed course proposal forms by the deadline.

Course Design Principles and Evaluation Criteria:
- Courses should span 6 to 10 weeks, with a minimum of 50 minutes of video content per week.
- Avoid using in-class lecture recordings. The Teaching Development Center will assist with video production.
- Include learning assessment mechanisms for each module and session.
- To enhance promotion, each course must include a course introduction and a 1-minute promotional video.
Once the proposed courses are reviewed and approved, the center will organize an informational meeting to guide course instructors through the preparation of the necessary materials.
